The SBS-8400 is a user friendly data monitoring system, complete with wireless modules and software. The 5.7 inch LCD colour touch screen can show real time data while testing, this real time data can also be viewed on a laptop via a RS232 connection. This device is unique because it has adjustable and automatic stop points meaning that the unit can automatically stop the test if a cell or entire string falls below a user set voltage. Safety is key with this unit, settings can also be changed during a discharge test without stopping the test. Tests are able to run without a technician being on site and without danger of over discharging an individual cell or an entire system. It has a wide voltage and current range: 10 €“ 300 Vdc / 0-120 Amps. The wireless modules are easy to hook up and eliminate the need for metres of signal wire. Each wireless module can record real time voltage of up to 4 individual cells or on multi cell blocks. This unit is fully compatible with the Torkel 860 battery loading unit making it a highly sought after piece of equipment.
